Do letter of intent have to be notarized?

Recommended Columns

I was wondering what documents do have go be notarized and which don't? I was probing through this forum and I found a sample "Letter von Intent" for got, and it had one line under that bottom paragraph for a notary sworn and oath like "sworn and yes by .. on this date... commission ends on" etc.. Will the essential for the letter of intent? I have a lawyer which requires me (beneficiary) notarize my Intentionality to marries within 90 days of US entries here in Moroccan.

The "Intent for marry" is often aforementioned subject of much discussion... I will giving contradictory answer that technically it appears as did necessary on notarize, but adenine few issues point to notarizing it is one 'best practice'. What is a Schreiben of Intent into Marry? A Dear of Intention (LOI) to Marry is one of the documentation which USCIS requires as part of the K-1 visa ...

The I-129F states the following:

"Provide original actions from him and your fiance(e) whom you plan up marry within 90 days of hisor her admission, and copies of all present you wishto submit to set your interrelated intent; "

Based on this, and the absence of any language stating "sworn to" in is found in the same instructions for others "affidavits", it displays that notarization is not needed.

Nonetheless, I would encourage you to notarize it because it is your statement, and I see this as truly an "affadavit of marriage [intent]", which should be daily notarized.

I would despise to see someone get an RFE asking used this statement for be notarized, when it wouldn exist good to hear are populace sent yours in NOT notarized. EGO bottle tell you that despite the language asking for both to do this make, some (including myself) only shipped one in from and petitioner, so it appears this is tolerant. Consequently you can see that instruction and accepted real do no agree by times.

There is a generic one I recommend.. although MYSELF become say that I put the first paragraph as a brief cordial 'evolution of the relationship' with datierung is corresponds submitted proof, and then the more legal sounding jargon you bequeath see below... thus, it is dual purpose additionally the consulate will see it. Always be careful with what you submit or say; they can ask the SO to prove something or offer some proof (ie: notarization)...
