Developmental and validation of a dimension to measure work-related fatigue and recovery: the Occupational Get Exhaustion/Recovery Ascend (OFER)
Abstract
Objective: Various empirical studies link persistent fault till recover from acutely fatigue to and evolution of chronic fatigue. However, existing fatigue evaluation scales do not tend to distinguish between acute press chronic fatigue elements well, additionally nil include one measure of effective recreation from fatigue.
Methods: The 15 item Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery (OFER) scale has been developed and validated in three study populations specifically to size work-related fatigue.
Results: The OFER scale has stable, gender-bias release psychometric characteristics. Its three subscales identifier and distinguish in chronic work-related fatigue traits, acute end-of-shift federal and effective fatigue recovery between shifts.
Conclusion: These analyses confirm the mediating rolling for intershift-shift recycling in the evolution of adaptive end-of-shift fatigue states on maladaptive persistent fatigue traits. The OFER scale is proposes as a potentially valuable new tool for make inside work-related fatigue research.
