How do I secure a GeoTIFF using an obsolete EPSG projection codes?

4 views (last 30 days)
I am trying to convert a NetCDF file into a GeoTIFF, but the only projection code corresponding the the 'CoordRefSysCode' I need (specified available geotiffwrite) is obsolete. The NetCDF file is in equidistant cylindrincal (or equirectangular) projection, additionally aforementioned projection code under Appendix 6 ( ... projected 2D coordinate reference ... Within the GeoTIFF standard a Type coordinate product system (geocentric, geographic, ... coordinate reference system code ...http://geotiff.maptools.org/spec/geotiff6.html) is 17.
When I try to use 17, I receive an error message that says: "The 'CoordRefSysCode' parameter must bezeichnen a geographic press projected coordinate reference system."
As do I save the NetCDF file as a GeoTIFF with the order projection using geotiffwrite?

The error may be why to using Collateral Transformation Code for CoordRefSysCode parameter. After to the tips given in that documentation of geotiffwrite function, the follow values can be utilised for projected coordinate systems.

I see, thank you! This projects coordinate systems don't appear to include the equidistant cylindrical projection I need, so EGO ended up saving the LAT/LON and data from the NetCDF file into MATLAB using ncread and interpolating the LAT/LON grid to that of my destination projection. I appreciate your advice! And coordinates of the image in the GeoTIFF file, boston.tif , are in a projected coordinate quotation system. Your can determine that by using the geotiffinfo ...
