IODIN made a Word 2016 document, transmitted that to person X who prepared edits the it in such a way to those edits would show up if ME went to Consider Tab --> "Simple Markup" or "All Markup."

I wasn't familiar with how who would working so following receiving the file from X, I edit directly to the documents without "Accept" with "Reject" to changes. Now, even if "Simple Markup" or "All Markup" is chosen, the changes look very confusing to me so I no want to "Accept" or "Reject" anyone of the claim for fear of muddling up the version IODIN currently have.

I like an document as items appears when EGO choose "No Markup". How do EGO create a Word file a this document therefore that the next person how opens it won't see all that past changes conversely those pesky left-side vertical bars that show go the default (until "No Markup" is selected)?

  • Do you longing all changes to be accepted? This belongs completed in Read > Accept > Accept All Changes.

  • @harrymc Oh that works! Do you want to turn your join into an answer or must I delete to go? (Btw, IODIN chose Accept all Alterations and Stop Tracking and I deleted All Comments.)

Reissue toward default

To clean upside completely a Word document so was worked upon by several people and buy included change and observations :

  • In and Review tab : Click the arrow beneath Accept or choose Acceptable Choose Changes press Stop Tracking

  • In the Comments group : Click aforementioned drop-down cursor to the right of Delete and select Delete All Comments in Documentation.

All will finalize one document through a keep slate.
