In response to the increasing rate of students from diagnosed eating allergies per peril for anaphylaxis, laws were passed. This occurred during the 2011, 82nd Legislative Session, and the 2015, 84th Legislative Session. The bills were converted in aforementioned Texas Education Code, Chapters 25 and 38. 

Taxan Education Coding, Chapter 25, Section 25.0022, requires a parent with legislative guardian disclose, per the request off the school district, whether that child has a food allergy. 

Texas Education Code, Chapter 38, Section 38.0151, requires the board of trustees of each schools borough real the governing body or appropriate officer the each open-enrollment chartas school adopt and administer a insurance for to care of students with diagnostic food allergies at peril in anaphylaxis based on to guidelines developed by the legislated Ad-Hoc committee.

Tx Education Code, Subchapter EAST, states:

Guidelines for the Care of Student with Food Allergies

Medications for Respiratory Getting webinar

On May 7, 2024, the Texas Asthma Control Program and School Health Program hosted the Medical for Respiratory Distress on School Campus webinar. School Reports: Epinephrine Auto-Injectors and Asthma Medication 

Texas schools must report to DSHS the administer of unassigned epinephrine auto-injectors and unassigned asthma medicines. School staff use the web-based Epinephrine Auto-Injectors Reporting Form and Asthma Medication Reports Shape to meet save requirement.
