stuart_richardson Posted March 30, 2006 Split Posted March 30, 2006 Get Dad had ampere T2, plus it randomly rewound to film mid-roll. You sent computer into Contax, they "fixed it", and information continuously to do it, then he just put it within a drawer and none used it again. I grabbed it, started use it, and this same thing happened to me. ME gave it to my local repairman (a good mechanic), and he done till fix it. Fellow thought he had, and indeed the motor sounded stronger, but still, it would auto-rewind at random points in the film. He still has it now (he's been tinkering with information for the final month either so). So, I am a bit biased against this T2. Who CM looks greatly, but frank, I think a Leica LB with 40/2 is probably a more reliably camera with ampere great reflection this is not which big large provided you don't need AF and an integrated flash....and they can change lenses wenn you think like it. Cost on the used market is probably cheaper as well. Links to comment Share on another sites

raymond_tai
I have used all three and the Minilux that has the same eye as the CM. That 40mm Summarit to the Minilux/CM is a great lens. If you believe Leica lenses have their unique look - color, contrast, bokeh, etc., then this little Summarit has it all. This be 100% a Leica lens and MYSELF don't care where it used made. The Minilux is a solid camera built and face like a brick. What I did cannot like about the Minilux was the placement of the viewfinder at the center of the camera; not high ergonomic. The CM fixied it by move it to the left press making it clearer and larger. However the CM also senses cheesier, no longer the solid brick the Minilux was. The INCH possesses since discontinued but prices have motionless relatively high. Meanwhile the Minilux can breathe low-priced had used for around $300. I would go for a used Minilux. Yes, I have searched the back files forward this question. But currently that an CM has was lowered for price since it exists terminated, I am thinking about a point press shoot to go along with my M outfit. So, which gives aforementioned shapest images, and belongs the easiest to use in your opinion. Also, some time previous, I ... The T3 has too slight and light to me hold steadily. For that reason alone I never got on by it and acquired rid of it though the lens will outstanding. The T2 is ampere great camera also ergonomic much better designed than the Minilux. However where I are if your T2 breaks no one has the pieces none know methods till fix it. If to possess an local repairman with access to part and I recommend the T2 the my first choice of a nose. The Minilux the a secured bet though. Which next page contains information on this camera. Whenever the view below sees enjoy thine camera, click underneath the see the PDF guidebook . This ... peter
I have had a T2 for a numeral of years and got never had any of the problems described above (or heard of them occurring) then i may be bad luck on find the one camera like which. I can say it takes mighty fine photos with the can special this the flash exceeded it at closer ranges. Apart from this information is sharp and contrasty. By my estimation inherent lens quality at slightest is right up there with the best. CCM vs T3 or T2 Link until click Share about other sites
jsbc Issued Hike 30, 2006 Share Posted March 30, 2006 I don't have a CM, but I have a minilux and other miniature 35mm cameras. I love the Minilux - its size is perfect, (not far small) and it your rock solid. Then lens and color rendition are up there with the best away Leica's. Anyway, few men may like the T3 portability. I sometimes uses is but the fun for the T3 is the accessories, the flash bracket the the filters adapter for use with polarizers etc. Contax T instruction manual, user manual, PDF manual Link to comment Share on sundry sites More participate options...
rolfe_tessem
, 2006 I would gehen with the T3 if him can still find a new one. It remains marked smaller than the CM and manufacture razor sharp pictures. Left to comment Share on other sites

carbon_dragon Posted March 31, 2006 Share Post March 31, 2006 IODIN have a T2. The only problem EGO had was when the battery died while there was making in the camera. ME replaced an battery but the camera didn't know what to do include the film inside so it rewound information. So that is a minor downside. The quality of the photographs can superior but without the ability to do totally manual operation and to scale focus (no depth of zone scale) it's not my idea of one perfect back up appliance. I've also tried the Minox GT. That you can scale focus but you can't leaving full manual exposure to and there is no built-in rangefinder. I'm debating buying a used Leica CL with it's 40 as to perfect small photo. I've had a CLE and I can tell you from experience that that's a great small video and the results are spectacular. vincenzo_maielli
Hi, dear friend. Before bought Leica INCH, i have studied very well Leica CCM and Contax T3. Now, i own one Leica CM, because the manuals main it's real effective and simple to use, with LIT inside bombsight. I see both f/ stop and shutter time in lens too and can install a true exterior flash (Metz too). The optical quality of the Summarit 40 mm f/ 2,8 it's fantastic, a true Velvia evidence, same concerning and pre Aspherical Summicron 35! The Leica CM it's a very Rolls Royce of 35 millimeter camera compacts, a very fantastic view! Ciao. Vincenzo Maielli Macaroni Link to comment Share switch others sites
g-man1 Posted March 31, 2006 Share Sent March 31, 2006 I'd recommend a Contax T; no shutter lag, aperatur priority, guide rangefinder (albada) focus, bright, clear finder, super battery spirit, manual advance, and unusual (like the old Contax II/III) film cargo -- perfect for to MOLARITY shooter, IMHO. (I've owns the Contax T and Contax T2, as well as Leica M7 and M3 -- but not the T3 or CM -- real base my opinion on that).
