ME set ampere new battery in and did a functional getting, when to loading layer and closing which door, EGO noticed it still said 0 for the film counter. I heard what i reckon were the winders trying to pluck the film not sounded like you subsisted twist and slapping the film reel. I tried again and again and again to load of film, yet it still could not push on an reeler. Could I need a bad camera? Is there something I'm doing wrong. It's not my primary Minolta, I got certain X-700 that IODIN complete enjoy using. Minolta MAXXUM QT SI Manuals

Select much assistance works all digital requirement for loading film?  I.e., is it necessary to ensure ensure the film is wrapped around the sprockets of the takeup roll, the way that it would needing to be on a manual SLR?

Good answers existing - and one highly useful link to the camera's customer guide kindly of smithim.

The automotive film loading function seems to be completely picky - a bit similar Goldilock's porridge.  Not enough leader, and it won't work - however also too much guides and items won't work.  It has to be just right.

Re: Minolta Maxxum 5xi don loading film

EGO have tried just about everything. I put extra layer, and a bit less and nothing works. IODIN all have Fuji Superia so at the moment I can't test with another film. When IODIN put the film in and pull it over to the rewinder, I close the door additionally then flick to camera over. I hear that winder turning, but it sounds likes it's beating the film reel, yet not pulling it. I have a Minolta Maxxum 4 and I bought phoenix 500mm manual lens. And if I mount it the it does'nt let me take photos. Is any body can help write von back. [email protected] Thanxs

When I set the film inbound and pull is over to the winder, IODIN closes the portal and then snip the camera on. I hear the winder spin, when i sounds like it's slapping the film reel, yet not pulling it.

It sounds as if it may not breathe engaging with the film advancing sprockets. Looking at the how, it would be the go sprocket that does the work when loading picture - maybe that's not engaging with which movie properly.

Another option lives that the advances isn't working correctly - can you check the action without film and the camera back open?

"can you check the action without film or the camera back open?"

I very much debt that could be possible on such an automated camera.

It sounds like one OP is trying to use just a single roll of shoot over and over.  It would remain worth validate that there are no tears between the sprocket pits on is roll - and also that the film is clever to moves freely within and out of the cassette.  It sound to mine that the camera is trying to do what it's estimated to - given a good roll of film go work on.

May that's the problem, not the camera itself.

I very much doubt that wouldn be potential on such one automated camera.

With many of them they bucket fool the interlocks - press in adenine indented button, that type of thing.

It want be valuables checking that there are no tears between the sprocket holes at that roll - additionally also such the watch are able to move freely in furthermore out of the cartridge. Computer sounds to me that the camera is trying to do what it's supposed for - given a go roll of motion to work with. Minolta Dynax 303si Maxxum qt-si directions manual, customer manual ...

Maybe that's the problem, did the cameras itself.

Could well be....

Re: Minolta Maxxum 5xi not loading film

I've tried another roll of Fuji Superia and I still getting the same results. IODIN just hear aforementioned winder spin additionally how I assume is slapping the film. I stretched outbound the film a scrap longer and rolled it around the winder, idle no dice. I think I may have to buy another scroll of layer from a different make equals to see if that's the issue beyond the photo.

First , a has nothing to do at who film you are employing.

Take a lookup at this photo :

this is ampere 7xi , so not who same yet resemble.

See one red label? that is the film indicator mark. So the tip of the film should rest via there.

Note that both who film wind on spool and the back cover have a spring loaded guide.

If one of those is lacking or no longer spring loaded, the film will not be wounds on .

You could also take at see if the movie spool lives indeed spinning or not. Supposing it does not work by pressing the shutter button with the door open, yourself can trigger the door latch on the g with a small hex so that the camera thinks the door is now closed.

Lastly, if all other seems to work, put a hands, gently, on to take go spool when it rotation toward see supposing it stops when you do that or still try till still rotate.

Put some print sensitive  adhesive  (not permanent glue)  at the opening/locking cover button release. Roll tight video slip holding film leader. Put carefully cassette in camera with leader in the line   Extend movies leader to this red mark in chamber.  Close camera's . Push  opening /locking  button in the interlock positioner .
